Collection: Ronnie & the Savoys
One of the rockiness sounds to ever come out of the Pittsburgh area. Originally organized as a rock and polka band performing at dance halls and weddings throughout southwest Pennsylvania, Ronnie & the Savoys instantly built a name for themselves throughout the region in the late 50's and early 60's. Originally recorded in 1958, this brand new 7" vinyl reissue includes the A side, Domino a bluesy vocal by Steve "Poppy" Popovich and the B side, Slappin' Rods & Leaky Oil a rocking instrumental which became a hit regionally as well as out on the West Coast when originally released.
